I Am Salmon

Job 41:1
"Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook?
Or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down."
"Freshwater creek doth giveth birth to me
a mere wee fish, salmon is me.
I am salmon, salmon of the acqua waters
born to seek , struggle and strive
up the waters to seek a dishy to fish to mate
Up to find my love to date.

Rivers of rushing streams race and sing
among the breeze.
Years of five go by,
I'm born to spawn and then to die.
Striving upstream, it's mean,
to race those rafters, some are pastors.

And swimming by I look up and see
crazy moonies bottoms high,
Doris waving goodbye goodbye,
and fly fishers raving and craving.

I see also blue and gold trains
with waitresses lovely to reign
and smart young men on microphones
and Chinese cooks outside to roam
and pesky passengers spilling drinks
driving lovely waitresses to the brink!

Under stars and moon and skies
I glide and drive
I pass the great frog statue
and meander neath many canoe.

What a life and joy to be a fish
in cool Bri-tish...Columbia,
to catch a fish and have a "rumbia"
and after kiss, to end in bliss.
Oh to be a Columbia fish."
